Salone "Sonny" May Jr.

Salone "Sonny" May, Jr. was born on August 25, 1934 to the union of Maude and Salone May in Delhi, LA. He departed this life on December 19, 2010 peacefully in his sleep. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Burnell May, sister Wendell "Wendy" Pritchett, and son Marvin "Pee Wee" May.
Sonny was a member of New Fellowship Baptist Church in Delhi, LA where he accepted Christ at an early age. He relocated to Seattle in 1953 where he would meet the love of his life, Melzena Whitehead one year later.
Melzena and Sonny were married on July 30, 1955 and became parents to their four children: Deborah, Salone, III., Marvin, and Regina...
